Boost Mobile‘s Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the carrier for Boost Mobile $45 Prepaid Plan?
Boost Mobile $45 Prepaid Plan uses the Telstra 3G, Telstra 4G, Telstra 5G which provides coverage to over 99.20% of the Australian population, and theoretically be able to achieve download speeds of up to 1.5Mbps.
After Boost’s promising start, all went downhill when Telstra took the reins, a disappointment for many brand fans.
Nothing but a nightmare! I tried to activate my Sim one week before. I called Boost every day to seek support but got a standard response asking me to wait another 24 hours. Till today, a whole week, my Sim is not yet activated. Really frustrating……
I purchased a prepaid sim last month, and the activation process was long drawn out. I called and sent emails to them many many times, but the problem did not be solved. Really a waste of time. Anyway, I have cancelled the order and don’t want to see Boost appear in my life anymore.
No customer service at all. They changed the plan without noticing customer, which reduced the data, but the price did not change! I will switch to another provider and would not recommend this company to anyone.
My sim is not working since 10 days ago, I chatted with them online over and over again and applied to replace sim for 5 times already but nothing receive. I asked them whether I can use $2 sim bought from retail store for instead, 2 said yes while 2 said no. So confused!
No customer service!!!I have some issues with my phone. I tried to call them, but they pushed me to contact by chat while the site did not support that.
All I could say is you get what you pay for – Boost is pretty cheap but the service matches the price point. No complaints so far. Boost is suitable for students!
Initially I had a propblem with them porting my number over to them, the staff of Boost confirmed that the issue was from their end, but they got it rectified soon enough, and they even got a supervisor to give me a courtesy call to check on my service and even compensated me for the time lost.
I\'ve been with Boost for 4 years, never had an issue. While there are some cheaper options out there now, but I stay with boostmobile due to their wide coverage.
