I am a new customer of American express and this has by far been my best credit card experience.There is no annual fee for the essential card which is great, and currently the interest rate is relatively low at 14.99%. I also checked my account the other day and there was a $50 credit for having spent a certain amount in the month. There is also a \'Card Benefits\' tab which shows exactly what benefits there are for your card.

Excellent service, representatives are helpful and knowledgeable. I have used this card for international travel for many years. When I met problems with hotels or travel agents American express always helped out.
