In our database, we're comparing 19 mobile plans offering 200GB or more data a month, from 13 providers across the Telstra, Optus and TPG networks (TPG's network also covers Vodafone-branded plans). Prices run from $20 to $99 a month, averaging $52.19 at today's advertised price and $60.93 once you account for plans that revert to a higher regular price. All 19 plans include unlimited talk & text. But on a page about big data allowances, the data side has its own catch: 7 of the 19 plans only reach their advertised data amount thanks to a temporary bonus or "double data" offer that expires after 4-6 renewal periods -- and in 5 of those cases the ongoing allowance actually falls below 200GB once the bonus ends. We've split the tables below by both price stability and data stability so you can see exactly which plans deliver on "200GB+" for the long haul.

A note on billing cycles

Almost all of the plans here bill every 30 days -- only one, amaysim's 95GB Unlimited SIM Only Plan, bills every 28 days instead. Its $35.00 advertised price works out to roughly $37.50/month equivalent, and its $45.00 regular price to roughly $48.21/month equivalent, once normalised to a 30-day cycle. We've shown both figures on that row so it compares fairly against the rest of the page.
